The ESS Global Trauma and Advanced Bleeding Control Training is designed for groups and individuals who have a greater than average chance of witnessing an injury event in which heavy bleeding occurs and professional medical care is not readily available or is overwhelmed. You will also learn scene safety and to practice situational awareness. Recognizing and managing sucking chest wounds and application of chest seals. triage and mass casualty.

The Trauma and Advanced Bleeding Control training in Tampa from ESS Academy is designed to provide detailed instruction on the control of severe external bleeding, Trauma and Advanced Bleeding Control

This training is ideal for those who have a greater than average chance of witnessing an injury event in which severe bleeding occurs, including those who work in law enforcement, security guards, executive protection, as well as workplace emergency response team personnel and staff at large events, campuses and large buildings. This is a standalone training or as an alternative training segment for the existing “Bleeding Control” segments in First Aid and CPR/AED .

In this course, you will learn:

– How to recognize life-threatening bleeding
– The action steps to take in a life-threatening bleeding emergency
– When you should use a tourniquet
– How to apply windlass rod, elasticized wrap and/or improvised tourniquets
– When to administer wound packing and/or hemostatic dressing

Serious injury can lead to life-threatening blood loss within minutes – be prepared to provide lifesaving care when the unexpected happens when you are out and about, at your place of work or in your community.

This interactive training course at ESS Academy will prepare you to recognize severe, life-threatening bleeding emergencies and to take action to stop the flow of blood.
