COURSE DESCRIPTION
The class curriculum requires a minimum, 3 hour course in CPR/AED/ BLS (basic life support), and relief of foreign body airway obstruction for adults, children, and infants.
During the class, the students will experience both video lecture and hands on skills.
The students will be required to pass a 20 question test and show proficiency in proper chest compressions, rescue breaths, and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in order to receive their certification card, which is good for 2 years and will be awarded after successful completion of training.
The instructional course will include the classroom instruction, including hands on training, certification card that’s good for 2 years, and web portal that the students can access to obtain a digital copy of the student hand book so they can have it on their computers, smart phones, Ipads, etc. They can even access different scenarios to hone their new skills and keep them fresh.
All courses are taught by a certified instructor and students will receive a certification that is good for 2 years through that instructors certifying agency.
