Focused Training for Executive Protection Professionals

This specialized course zeroes in exclusively on two of the most critical components of Executive Protection operations: Threat Assessment and Security Advance tactics. Whether you are new to the Executive Protection (EP) field or currently working in it and looking to sharpen your skill set, this course offers in-depth, hands-on training to ensure you’re operating at a professional level.

While some of the material covered here overlaps with our full Executive Protection Training Course, this class goes deeper by moving beyond theory and putting students into real-world application scenarios. Our goal is to ensure that every student leaves with not only the knowledge but also the practical experience to conduct professional-grade assessments and advances in the field.

What You’ll Learn:

In the classroom, we’ll begin with a breakdown of:

• Risk and threat identification models

• Advance planning procedures

• Venue and route analysis

• Communication protocols with site contacts

• Industry documentation standards

Before you’re released into the field, our instructors—many of whom are current or former law enforcement and EP professionals—will walk you through step-by-step processes to ensure your work reflects industry best practices.

Hands-On Field Application:

Students will be assigned several real-world locations (e.g. hotels, restaurants, airports/FBOs, event venues) and be responsible for conducting:

• Comprehensive threat assessments

• Full site surveys

• Route reconnaissance

• Coordination meetings with key venue contacts such as hotel security, FBO personnel, and restaurant managers

Using this information, each student will then compile a formal Security Brief, which must include:

• Threat matrix and analysis

• Entry/exit plans

• Contingency planning

• Route and site diagrams

• Contact logs and meeting summaries

This completed brief will be reviewed and evaluated by instructors and must meet professional standards used in the Executive Protection industry.
